Situated on the coast in Old Hunstanton, with grounds that stretch down to the seashore to one of the finest beaches in Norfolk, the hotel offers old world charm complemented by personal service.
Best Western Le Strange Arms Hotel is ½ a mile from Hunstanton Golf Club and is an ideal base to visit some of the country’s finest stately homes, including HM the Queen’s country home at Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Halls, with Norfolk Lavender and RSPB Titchwell just 5 miles away.
In the evenings you can choose to dine in a relaxed and informal manner in either the hotel restaurant or the Ancient Mariner, the adjacent village pub with real ales and hearty food.
The hotel originated from a farmhouse built in the 1600s and has been continuously developed over the years. One of the hotel's unique features is that, whilst situated on the East coast it faces due-West, overlooking The Wash (one of the largest estuaries in Britain) and giving a perfect view of Norfolk sunsets.
The hotel has a conference and banqueting suite seating up to 130 people.
Whilst the hotel has no ground floor bedrooms, there is a lift to the first floor.

If cancelled up to 16:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Due to the busy function suite, the hotel's premier rooms are affected by noise mainly on a Saturday evening until approximately midnight.

Children staying in their own room will be charged 50% off the relevant tariff. Children will be charged for meals as taken.
Pets:
Dogs are accepted in some rooms by prior arrangement and at an additional cost. Owners are requested to bring their pet’s bedding.
Breakfast is served from 07:30 until 09:30. Dinner is served from 19:00 until 20:45.
The Le Strange Restaurant offers both daily table d’hôte and à la carte menus. Both the menus feature fresh fish and local produce. The extensive wine list is carefully chosen and features fine wines to complement your meal. The wine list is regularly updated with innovative New World selections.
Our popular local pub, The Ancient Mariner Inn, adjoins the hotel. The pub serves excellent beers, real ales and wines. The pub also offers informal dining in the bar, the garden and the Galley Restaurant.
Follow the A149 north from Kings Lynn to Hunstanton. The hotel is located one mile north of the town, in the village of Old Hunstanton, just off the A149.
